Curios "Double Sales" Program

These Terms of Participation ("Terms") govern participation in the Curios "Double Sales" Program (the "Program"). By applying to and/or participating in the Program, you ("Creator," "you") agree to these Terms as well as the Curios Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

1. Eligibility & Application

• Participation in the Program is open only to creators with an active Curios creator account in good standing.
• To be considered, creators must submit an application via the official Curios application form, located at [link to be provided].
• Curios reserves the sole right to review, approve, or deny any application at its discretion. Approval is not guaranteed.

2. Program Participation & Benefits

• If accepted, creators will receive double the normal net proceeds from sales of their digital content works during the Program Period, calculated in accordance with Curios' standard net proceeds definition in the Curios Terms of Service.
• "Net proceeds" refers to the amount normally payable to you after applicable platform fees, payment processor fees, refunds, and chargebacks.

3. Program Period & Payment Limitations

• The Program Period begins on the date of Curios' written notice of acceptance and continues for up to 90 days, unless terminated earlier under Section 6.
• The maximum additional payout under this Program is $5,000 USD per Creator, across all sales during the Program Period.
• The double-sales bonus is capped at $5 per item per customer, regardless of the purchase price of the content or the number of identical items purchased by the same customer.
  • Example: If a customer buys your content for $5, you will receive your usual $5 net proceeds plus $5 bonus (total $10).
  • If the customer buys two copies of the same content, the total will still be $10 ($5 net proceeds + $5 bonus).
  • If the customer buys content priced at $7, you will receive $7 net proceeds plus $5 bonus (total $12).

4. Creator Obligations

• You agree to comply with all Curios policies, including but not limited to content standards, acceptable use, and intellectual property requirements.
• You may not engage in fraudulent, misleading, or abusive practices (e.g., self-purchases, purchase manipulation, refund abuse) to artificially inflate sales. Curios reserves the right to withhold Program payouts if abuse is suspected.

5. Payment Timing

• Bonus payments will be processed in accordance with Curios' regular payout schedule and reflected as a separate line item in your creator payout report.

6. Program Termination & Modification

• Curios may suspend or terminate your participation in the Program at any time, with or without cause, and without notice.
• Curios reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Program (including payout structure, caps, or eligibility requirements) at any time, in its sole discretion.

7. Taxes & Compliance

• You are solely responsible for any taxes, reporting obligations, or compliance requirements that may arise from receiving Program payouts.

8. Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curios will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of participation in this Program.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws set forth in the Curios Terms of Service.
