Curios Launches Mobile App for Direct-to-Fan Streaming

Fans can own and enjoy music, podcasts, ebooks, and more from the Curios marketplace on iOS and Android.

Curios has launched its mobile application, now available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app offers a straightforward way to own and consume music, podcasts, ebooks, and other content from the Curios Creator Marketplace.

The launch is an important milestone in Curios' mission of empowering fans to directly support artists, and of enabling artists to engage with their fans and monetize their work without a middleman. Within the Curios platform, musicians and creators can earn significantly more from their work than they typically do on traditional streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Audible.

About the app

The Curios mobile app lets fans quickly access any digital content published by creators through Curios Studio. It integrates with a range of audio systems, including Bluetooth speakers, car sound systems, and Sonos, for playability across devices. Beyond providing access to a broad range of digital content, the app opens exclusive avenues for fans to enjoy content available only through Curios.

"We're excited to continue bridging the gap between creators and their audiences, while enabling creators to keep 100% of their sales, and maintain ownership of their work," said Grant Powell, founder of Curios, Inc.

Founded in 2020, Curios builds tools that make it easier for creators to own, monetize, and distribute their work across media, with an emphasis on creator rights and consumer access.
