Curios Assumes Management of the E-NFT Marketplace

Curios has taken over management of the E-NFT marketplace from Vinco Ventures, Zash Global, and Emmersive Entertainment, securing the future of the platform and its more than 100,000 users.

The transition marks a pivotal moment in fulfilling the commitments E-NFT originally made to its users. Digital marketplaces operated by Curios specialize in providing access to owned digital content in perpetuity, and Curios' management and transition of E-NFT is intended to ensure the original promise of Emmersive and the artists it represented is delivered.

How E-NFT ended up here

EVNT Platform, LLC, the company responsible for the creation of E-NFT, was originally formed by rapper Tramar Dillard, known as Flo Rida, along with David J. Kovacs and Erik Hicks, as a subsidiary of Emmersive Entertainment, and is now believed to be defunct. Vinco Ventures and Zash Global, stakeholders in Emmersive Entertainment, decided not to continue supporting the marketplace. With their withdrawal, the future of E-NFT was in jeopardy.

The future of E-NFT

Curios is committed to ensuring continued access to all digital content released and bought or sold through e-nft.com. A shutdown would have cut off tens of thousands of users from media they had already purchased, including music from artists such as Tory Lanez, whose album sold over one million copies on the marketplace.

To preserve that value and improve the experience, Curios plans to merge the E-NFT marketplace into its new Creator Marketplace. The move will offer expanded functionality and more engagement opportunities for buyers, and it ensures continuity of access to content that fans have already paid for.
